catalog360 provides you with the option of displaying targeted advertising on your website.

To add a new advert click the Add Advert button.

Name - Give your advert a name.

 

Link URL - This is the URL (webpage) the customer is taken to when they click the advert.

 

Display URL - This is the URL that is displayed to the customer and can be different to the one they go to when they click the advert.

 

Open advert link in new browser window - ticking this forces the browser to open a new window when the customer clicks the advert.

 

Text Only - This is the text-only version of the advert for accessibility purposes.

Advert Style - This is the style in which the advert will be rendered or displayed, choose a style from the drop-down menu options.

 

Advert Location - Use this drop-down menu to determine where on the web page the advert will be displayed.

 

Run Advert in this Section - This assigns the advert to be displayed as part of a particular section already in your website.

 

Run Advert in this Article Type - This drop-down menu assigns the advert to appear whenever customers view articles which are part of a particular Article Type group.

 

Run Advert in this Category - Assigns the advert to appear whenever customers view items that are part of a particular category.

 

The Date/Time fields determine when the advert will be displayed.

 

Display Order - If more than one advert is to be displayed on a webpage then this option determines the sequence in which they appear.

 

Image 1 & Image 2 - Select an image to appear as part of the advert, you may assign a maximum of two images per advert.

 

Important Note: You must resize the images prior to uploading them to the size of your selected Advert Style.

 

Brand - Use the Brand drop-down menu to select the particular brand you wish your advert to appear in ie, if you  administer more than one website in catalog360 you can use this option to determine which website the advert appears in.

 

Language - the default is English.

 

Add Advert - Once you have filled in all the necessary advert fields, press the Add Advert button to save your new advert.

 

On the right is an example of an advert with all the relevant fields filled in.
